Prankster increases the priority of status moves by +1.
This allows a slower Pokémon with Prankster to use a status move before an opponent uses a regular move, and if it’s faster, it can act before the opponent’s priority moves like Aqua Jet.
The move Quick Guard does not block moves whose priority is boosted by Prankster, though it does block moves that naturally have increased priority.
