When the Pokémon knocks out a target, its bond with its Trainer is strengthened, and its Attack, Sp. Atk, and Speed stats are boosted.

Battle Bond causes Greninja to transform into Ash-Greninja when it KOs an opponent.

This transformation boosts Greninja's Attack, Special Attack, and Speed stats. Additionally, Battle Bond increases the power of Greninja's signature move, Water Shuriken, and makes it a three-hit move.
