Effect
Sand Stream creates a sandstorm when the ability-bearer enters battle. The sandstorm lasts 5 turns unless it is cleared by abilities like Air Lock or Cloud Nine, or replaced by another weather condition.
If multiple Pokémon with weather-generating abilities (such as Sand Stream, Drizzle, Drought, or Snow Warning) enter the field on the same turn, the weather conditions activate consecutively based on the Pokémon's Speed, with the slowest Pokémon's weather condition taking effect last.
Changes
Prior to Generation 6, Sand Stream lasted indefinitely upon activation.
