Dry Skin

Generation of first appearance Generation IV

Restores the Pokémon’s HP in rain or when it is hit by Water-type moves. Reduces HP in harsh sunlight, and increases the damage received from Fire-type moves.

Dry Skin causes several effects:

  • When hit by a Water-type attack, instead of taking damage, the Pokémon heals 1/4 of its maximum HP.
  • When hit by a Fire-type attack, it takes 25% more damage.
  • During bright sunshine, the Pokémon loses 1/8 of its maximum HP each turn.
  • During rain, the Pokémon recovers 1/8 of its maximum HP each turn.
