"Pokémon Black 2/White 2" (Japanese: Pokémon Black 2/White 2) is a role-playing game developed by GAME FREAK and published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company. The game is the sequel to "Pokémon Black and White" and was released on the Japanese Nintendo DS platform on June 23, 2012. The American and European versions are scheduled to be released in the fall of 2012. The game was first revealed on the Japanese TV show Pokémon Smash! on February 26, 2012, and was subsequently confirmed globally by the official Pokémon website.
This is the last packaged Nintendo DS game released by Nintendo, and the last 2D Pokémon game so far.
