"Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl" (Japanese: ポケットモンスターPokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl (English: Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl) is a role-playing game developed by ILCA, published by The Pokémon Company, and released on the Nintendo Switch platform. This game is a remake of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl.
For the first time in the main series of the series, ILCA, a Japanese developer other than GAME FREAK, is responsible for production. It is co-directed by ILCA's Yuichi Ueda and "Pokémon Diamond and Pearl" director Junichi Masuda. This is ILCA's first independently developed console game.
