"Pokémon Platinum" (Japanese: ポケットモンスター プラチナ, English: Pokémon Platinum) is a role-playing game developed by GAME FREAK and released by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo for the Nintendo DS. The game was released in Japan in September 2008, and in North America, Australia and Europe in 2009.
This is an enhanced version of "Pokémon Diamond and Pearl", and the cover Pokémon is Giratina. Compared with the original two games, the distribution of Pokémon has changed, and the number of Pokémon included in the Sinnoh illustrated book has increased to 210.
Add new features
The biggest difference in this game is the addition of the "Destroyed World" where Giratina lives, thus extending a plot different from that of "Diamond/Pearl". Characters such as the Interpol "Handsome Guy" and the Galaxy Team's research cadre "Pluto" have also been added.
Like "Pokémon Emerald", this game has a new battle development area with a total of five facilities for players to challenge.
