"Pokémon Sleep" (Japanese: ポケモンスリープ) is a derivative work of the Pokémon series of mobile games developed by Japanese studio Select Button, with assistance from Niantic, and published by The Pokémon Company. The game will be launched globally on July 17, 2023.
This game can track the player's sleep time through a smartphone or peripheral device "Pokémon GO Plus+", and then transmit the relevant data to the user's phone via Bluetooth for use in related sleep games. This makes "sleeping" a form of entertainment, similar to how "Pokémon GO" turns "walking" into entertainment.
